Are you short on time and want to become a certified diver? The PADI Scuba Diver certification could be for you... Especially if you want to dive primarily with a dive guide or if you have little time to spend on diving, become a PADI Scuba Diver. The certification is recognised worldwide and is valid for life, up to a maximum depth of 12 metres / 40 feet.

The fun part
The Scuba Diver certification opens the door to the marine world, to its colourful depths, to its exceptional encounters, and this anywhere in the world!
During the course, you will do one session in the pool and two dives in the Caribbean Sea... on the beautiful reefs of Playa Del Carmen, all under the safe supervision and instruction of your PADI Instructor.
Prerequisites
To register, you must
Be at least 10 years old for the PADI Junior Scuba Diver course and at least 15 years old for the Scuba Divercourse.
Demonstrate that you can float for ten minutes and swim 200 metres in the pool.
Complete our PADI Medical Questionnaire This form allows you to check if you need to be examined by a doctor before participating in recreational scuba training. If any of the items on the medical questionnaire apply to you, you should consult a doctor before participating in the dive
What you learn
The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three distinct sections.
All the fundamentals of scuba diving through the development of theoretical knowledge
A set of pool diving techniques that you will return to during open water dives
An exceptional discovery of the underwater world that will make you want to come back for more, deeper and longer dives!
During the course, you will become familiar with the equipment and acquire practical skills in subjects such as
Buoyancy skills, including comfortable ascents and descents, and breathing underwater.
Keeping warm underwater, improving your swimming skills and buddy diving techniques.
Discover the dive environment and aquatic life you are likely to encounter.

PADI Scuba Diver with e-learning: 1 day
On the first day we will meet at our dive centre at 8:30 am.
You will do 1 pool session
You will do 2 open water dives during the 1 day training.
If you choose the PADI Open Water Diver without e-learning: 2 days - with 1 day of classroom theory.
End of the day: around 16:3
Material and equipment
e-Learning: start studying from home, thanks to the Padi online tool. Go at your own pace, before you arrive and save time.
You can also choose the open water manual and follow the course with your PADI professional instructor on site in our classroom.
The PADI Open Water course material covers everything you need to know about basic dive skills, terminology and safety procedures. In each section of the course, you'll read a chapter from the book and watch a video demonstration. Then you'll dive into the pool to practice these skills with your instructor. Later, as a certified diver, you'll use the course material as a reference guide for future dive adventures and review what you've learned.
All the scubaequipment you'll need is included in your course. You will use all the basic scuba equipment, which includes a mask, snorkel, fins, a buoyancy compensator device (BCD) that also holds your scuba tank, a breathing regulator, a weighting system, a wetsuit and a pressure gauge to monitor depth and air supply.
