Scuba Refresh Coruse – Cozumel

If it's been a while since you've been diving, refresh your dive knowledge and skills. The PADI Scuba Refesh is designed to help you regain your confidence and make sure you remember how to dive safely.

The fun part

Review your underwater knowledge and skills Improve your diving skills and get your equipment ready for your next dive holiday. Enjoy some great dives off the coast of Cozumel, in the warm, crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, with coral and fish of many radiant colours

What you learn

You'll review the diving skills you learned during your initial training. You will then practice basic skills in shallow water before returning to recreational dives.

Some exercises will be performed

• Practising all the safety of a diver

• Assembling dive equipment

• Dive planning

• Contingency management

• And other exercises... according to your needs and what you remember, after a small previous evaluation (mask emptying, regulator change, controlled emergency ascent...).

Timetable and programme

• Meeting at 8:30 am at our Dive Centre.

• Shallow water session from the boat to learn the basics in peace and quiet.

• Two ‘FUN DIVES ’ in the sea to dive again and enjoy the magnificent richness of the marine life of the Caribbean.

What to bring

• Your swimming costume, a towel and your smile.

• Your PADI level certification card or equivalent organisation.

Prerequisites

To register, you must

• Be a certified diver or enrolled in an underwater certification course.

• Be at least 10 years of age

• Complete our PADI Medical Questionnaire. This form allows you to check if you need to be examined by a doctor before participating in recreational dive training. If any of the items on the medical questionnaire apply to you, you should consult a physician before participating in the dive.

The equipment you will need is NOT included in the Scuba Refresh . It is necessary to rent it for an extra cost of 20 USD.

You will use all the basic scuba equipment, which includes a mask, snorkel and fins, a buoyancy control device (BCD) that also supports your scuba tank, a regulator for breathing, a pressure gauge to control the air supply, a wetsuit and a weight belt.
